Smørrebrød, roast pork, stjerneskud, wienerschnitzel and more.

Right in the heart of Aarhus in Sønder Allé on the corner of Hans Hartvig Seedorffs Stræde is Raadhuus Kafeen - one of the city's oldest eateries.

The cafe opened its doors for the first time in 1924 by wine merchant Jens Jørgensen under the name Park Alleens Vinstue.

In the beginning it was just a restaurant serving beer and wine, but in 1928 the café was expanded with a kitchen that specialized in lunch dishes and smørrebrød, when a new owner, Julius Jensen, took over the place.
